I am a Christian Seafarer
I will live my life for Christ

My sins have been paid for by the willing sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God.
I shall honor that sacrifice with total commitment to Him.
I will never deny my faith.

I believe...
I believe the Bible is God's Holy Word.
I believe that Jesus is the only divine Son of God, truly God and truly man.
I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me.
I believe that He took the punishment I deserve from God for my sins.
I believe His resurrection is proof that God can give me the strength
   to turn away from my sinful ways,
   live a clean and righteous life and
   have eternal life in heaven.

I will...
I will not dishonor Jesus Christ by word or deed.
I will read God's Word for guidance and comfort.
I will trust in prayer.
I will be pure in body, heart and mind.
I will stay sexually pure for my spouse or future spouse.
I will not use pornography or visit strip clubs.
I will keep my priority: God, my spouse, my family and then work.
I will conduct all affairs with honesty and all relationships with integrity.
I will never abandon a discouraged, troubled or struggling Christian shipmate.
I will forgive others just as I have been forgiven.
I will share the Gospel message with respect, kindness and clarity.
I will respect my work and those in rightful leadership over me.

I am a Christian Seafarer.
My soul has been won by the blood of Jesus Christ
and I shall always honour Him.*
